Lidar Professional Committee is a national academic exchange institution under the National Committee of the International Digital Earth Society of China. Founded in July 2012, lidar Professional Committee aims to actively promote the development of basic theories, technologies and applications in lidar field, and provide a platform for academic exchange and cooperation among lidar workers nationwide.In 2010 successfully held the first national conference on earth observation laser radar senior ", on the basis of thorough application in order to further promote the laser radar remote sensing technology and summarizes the latest progress in the study of laser radar remote sensing in our country in recent years, laser radar professional committee decided on 25 October 2013-27 buildings in Beijing university held the second academic exchange meeting, conference name as "the 2nd national conference on laser radar", the concrete issues notice is as follows:
 

First. Theme of the conference

This session will be provided for the researchers in the field of laser radar and user an open academic exchange platform, in view of the basic theory of laser radar remote sensing, data acquisition, data processing and system development and application of laser radar in the hot issues to communicate, discuss the key technical problems and new directions in the field of laser radar.
 

The conference topics and paper collection scope include but are not limited to: the basic theory of liDAR remote sensing, lidar data acquisition technology, LIdar data processing and LIDAR remote sensing application.
 

Topic 1: Basic theory of lidar

It includes imaging mechanism, error analysis and physical basis of lidar
 

Topic 2: LiDAR data acquisition

It includes laser scanner, inertial navigation, GPS, instrument calibration, time synchronization, coordinate calculation, acquisition system integration, system calibration, etc
 

Theme 3: LiDAR data processing

These include waveforms, discrete lidar, and data processing for spaceborne, airborne, ground, and underwater sounding LIdar
 

Theme 4: Application of lidar technology

Including surveying and mapping, forestry, electric power, urban, disaster, heritage protection, agriculture, atmosphere, ocean, geology, environment, water conservancy and other fields of application
